SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS:
Development of novel targeted gene and/or drug delivery systems for cancer based on Starburst dendrimers, biodegradable polyesters, polymeric micelles and hybrid nanoparticles. This includes the design, synthesis and evaluation of novel multifunctional theranostic agents, novel non-viral nanocarrier formulations of oligonucleotides including DNA and siRNA, and polymeric micelles based nanocarriers for chemotherapeutic agents. Plenty of experience in the study of Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization (ATRP), Ring Opening Polymerization (ROP), Click Chemistry, and other methods related to the synthesis and modification of functional macromolecules with narrow molecule weight distribution;
