Research Areas

·  GlycobiologyWe mainly focuse on the study of protein O-GlcNAcylation (an important post-translational modification), including the enzymes (OGT & OGA) orchestrating the modification, the O-GlcNAc role on specific proteins, O-GlcNAc variation in ageing process and the signal transduction pathways.

· Biomarkers. We are interested in the examination of O-GlcNAc proteins in various clinical samples (tissue/blood/urine) to find valuable biomarkers.

· Cross-talks between O-GlcNAcylation and ubiquitination.
